UNITED NATIONS | THE LIVING PETITION

A digital sculpture built from 3D selfies to look world leaders in the eye and say: ‘We Are Not a Target.’

One Show Shortlist

Two-thirds of war victims are civilians.

During the UN General Assembly, we invited people to join a new kind of petition. Not with signatures, but with their photos.

Photogrammetry turned selfies into 3D models. Kinetic sensors made the sculpture’s eyes follow decision-makers. Today, The Living Petition lives in the permanent art exhibition at the United Nations HQ in NYC.
